When I purchased this dress I was a size 12/14, but lost quite a bit of weight before my wedding and ended up a size 8. I did not have to have any alterations except at the hem since this dress has a corset back. It was so awesome, this dress is like elastic pants! I am 5'4 so I did have to have length hemmed some, but I did wear 2 1/2 inch heels also. I love this dress, it is so beautiful, I just don't have need for it anymore.
